An "aggressive" version in limited edition for the Strider 11

The Italian shipyard Sacs and the German car maker ABT Sportsline are collaborating to launch a limited edition of 10 units of the Strider 11 ABT Sport Master. This 11 m semi-rigid is available in an aggressive and powerful look.

With no less than 12 models, the Strider range is the emblematic range of the Italian shipyard Sacs. The Strider 11 is a mid-range model, initially launched in 2010 and whose design and layout has evolved from year to year.

In 2019, Sasc joined forces with ABT Sportsline, a German car maker, which works with the Volkswagen and Audi groups. The result of this association is a very sporty edition of the 11 m semi-rigid, the Strider 11 ABT Sport Master L.E.

Hans-Jürgen Abt, owner of Abt Sportsline, directly saw this as an opportunity as many of his clients are interested in the world of boating. "I had long dreamed of transferring our technical and stylistic skills from a vehicle to a boat."

It is a brand new boat that has been developed by the car tuner, using only the Strider 11 platform. From the colours of the boat, to the fabrics and colours of the upholstery, to the engine compartment (under the rear sunbathing area), which has been completely redesigned.

If the Strider 11 was already sporty in its basic version - this version limited to only 10 units - pushes the concept to its limits. Its carbon floats and matte black painted hull and deck give it an aggressive look. Many parts of the boat have also been reworked in carbon fibre reinforced plastic.

The arrangement on board is of course the same as the Strider 11 with a beautiful swimming platform and a sunbathing area at the rear. In the cockpit, there is a U-shaped bench seat with a table and a well-equipped kitchen facing each other. The helm station is ergonomic, with a central touch screen console and two well padded and comfortable seats for standing or sitting upright. At the front, a second sunbathing area completes the comfort equipment. Finally, under the deck, a double cabin with a toilet is available for storage or rest.

The Strider 11 receives 740 hp, which gives it a speed of more than 50 knots. And the preparer is working on an ABT Power Boost system to increase engine power by about 10%.

Only 10 copies of the Strider 11 ABT Sport Master will be sold at 397?000 ? including VAT per unit.
