But with Le Boat, it is also possible to buy a boat and have it financed by its rental. The program takes up point by point all the components of the purchase of sailboats in management-charter, but adapted for the river.
After an initial down payment (approximately 50% of the boat price), you can use your boat for up to 12 weeks per year for 7 years. But you also have access to boats of equivalent size in the entire Le Boat fleet. That is, in one of the 22 bases available in France, 13 in Europe and one in Canada.
euros at the end of your management-lease program, after 7 years, you become the owner of your boat. You can then resell it (with a guaranteed resale price) or keep it. During the 7 years, maintenance, berth, insurance, repairs and taxes are taken care of by The Boat. You don't have to worry about anything! And above all, your boat will not have cost you anything. Horizon Fleet
Le Boat offers you in its rental management program all the models of its Horizon range. These are boats developed exclusively for Le Boat by the Delphia shipyard. This range consists of 5 models from 11.50 m to 14.74 m and from 1 to 5 cabins.
The particularity of the Horizon lies in its innovative motorization. Indeed, the engine is installed near the transom, in a cockpit box and the transmission to the propeller shaft is hydraulic. Thus the floor of the saloon is very low, almost glued to the hull. While keeping a height of 2 m under the barrots, this configuration limits the air draft of the boat. Thus, this trawler (which can also navigate at sea in category C) passes under all bridges despite its fly (even those of the Canal du Midi!). This choice of motorization also avoids differences in level. Only one step is needed to access the cabin area at the front of the boat.
Another special feature of the Horizon is that it is equipped with bow and stern thrusters. With this equipment coupled with a joystick (a boat-shaped joystick), maneuvering becomes child's play. Parking a Horizon, passing a lock is even easier on a Horizon.
