If Lomac had communicated a lot about the launch of the Gran Turismo 14.0 - a 13.65 m mega tire equipped with three 425 HP outboards and that we had the opportunity to try - the release of the Adrenalina 10.0 was more confidential. This 9.62 m (overall length) model is the inboard version of the Adrenalina 10.5, launched in Cannes in September 2017. These two models therefore share the same deck layout except for the bathing platform.
"When the Adrenalina 10.5 came out, the shipyard had planned this large cargo hold under the sunbathing area in preparation for the launch of the 10.0. The large compartment under the sunbathing area was used as storage on the first model and houses the 2 inboard V6 engines. The bracket of the 10.5 is replaced by a beautiful bathing platform" explains Pierre Carpentier, sales manager for the site in France.
Access on board is via the huge swimming platform, ideal for enjoying the sea, and extended by a very large sunbathing area, which can be protected from the sun by a bimini (standard) that can be stored in the trunk. To get into the cockpit, you have to walk on the sunbathing cushions (beware of the light colours that can stain) and step over the back seat.
The rear of the cockpit therefore has a bench seat with four comfortable ergonomic seats with backs. The latter also lowers forward to extend the sunbathing.
The leaning post has a folding table on the back and a 50 L built-in refrigerator. The pilot and co-pilot bench covers the bolster well protected by a backrest with armrest. For smaller riders, we prefer the standing driving position rather than sitting or semi-seated, especially since there is no footrest, as we discovered on 10.5.
The large centre console is spacious and well protected by a sporty windscreen without a pillar. There are also many handrails for easy mobility or navigation. The front decks are wide and can be easily moved from front to back.
The front cockpit is occupied by a large U-shaped saloon with a table (electric as an option) that lowers to allow for additional sunbathing.
Access to the cab is from the front of the console by lifting the central bench seat. There is a double bed (or two single beds), storage space and chemical toilets (optional electric marine toilets).
While the Adrenalina 10.5 was clocking in at 55 knots with 2x300 HP Yamaha, the yard announces a maximum speed of 52 knots for the 10.0 with 2x350 HP Mercruiser. Neoprene hypalon floats can be customized in terms of colors, such as upholstery.
The Lomac shipyard has a very well finished unit, of high quality that will seduce customers who are looking for a large bathing platform, something that was not found on the Adrenalina 10.5.
