A range that gains in finish
Dufour is building on its achievements with its breakthrough among large yachts through its Exclusive range (Dufour 56 and 63 Exclusive ) to adapt them to smaller models. Thus the new 390, still designed by the architect Felci, takes up the new insert in the shell plating which emphasizes the hull windows. There is also the front porthole, in the front cabin, which provides light and forward vision.
Owner, but also charter
With its 390 Dufour wants to be able to meet the demand of sailboat rental companies. To do this, it is necessary to increase the number of cabins and toilets. It is done in this 390 in which the shipyard succeeds in proposing a version 3 cabins, 3 toilets... More traditionally, an owner will choose a version 2 or 3 cabins, but with only 2 bathrooms.
The 3-bathroom version eats a lot of volume in the saloon and the galley gets stuck in the port passage. With one less shower room, it is larger on the starboard side in an L shape at the foot of the descent.
Easy to navigate?
As for sailing, Dufour has planned a self-steering jib and even presents his sailboat with a furling mainsail. Probably to show that it will be an easy sailboat to manoeuvre by all boaters. Other sail versions should be released soon.
The large cockpit is framed by 2 wheel steering with winches just in front. The piano being classically on the deckhouse on either side of the descent.
An unchanged range
For the moment, Dufour is not changing its range, simply integrating the new models between the old ones.
