RS 21, an aggressive collective keelboat

With the new RS 21, RS Sailing launches a collective and sporty keelboat. A small new boat designed to seduce Federations and clubs.

RS Sailing offers a whole range of dinghies. From the small solo dinghy to the sport catamaran. A range very appreciated by sailing schools with collective models such as the Venture. But in 2018, this English brand is tackling a new market segment: that of the sports keelboat.

It was at the request of sailing federations, clubs and schools that the yard developed the RS 21. Often collective sailing boats, appreciated for discovering and learning to sail, are wise sailboats. The RS 21 is deliberately more aggressive. With a lifting keel (on a stem) whose ballast represents 50% of the weight of the boat, this keelboat should offer great sensations to its crew with scheduled departures while maintaining good stability. For the crew: stowage, footbraces and a well-designed cockpit. A well has even been designed to install a small electric motor.

This is a beautiful craft that will be just as comfortable for discovering sailing, coastal cruising or even match racing or fleet sailing. It is available in the One Design version (including gennaker) at 33,500 euros and in the Club version (with Club sails and without gennaker) at 29,300 euros. This little gem will be presented to the public for the first time at the Düsseldorf Boot from 20 to 28 January 2018.
