A mini salt marsh at home

Did you know that? Sea salt can be produced in less than 3 hours! Would you like to try it? Ma P'tite Saline is an educational kit for producing salt at home.

Beautifully made in a beautiful wooden box, Ma P'tite Saline reproduces a salt marsh in miniature. You will be able to discover the ladure, the carnations, the bridge and the hopper and collect your salt with the las. And if these terms are unknown to you, don't worry, an explanatory leaflet is provided with the kit.

This mini salt marsh is built with fully recyclable materials in the Pouliguen region, on the edge of the Guérande marshes. Its designer, Lionel Saur, has been bathed in salt since he was a child. With this kit, he wanted to explain salt harvesting to children (and adults alike!).

In order to operate, sea water will have to be collected. And in 3 hours in full sun, or a little more depending on the sunshine, the kit will allow you to collect about a spoonful of salt (depending on the sea water used). Some users also have fun collecting salt from several sources depending on the sea water collected.
