A VHF available in 3 versions
The Navicom RT850 fixed VHF is a first price fixed VHF which comes in three versions :
- In its basic version, it includes a black box and a separate handset. This construction allows the installation in a box or console leaving the handset alone and leaving it visible when unplugged from the edge. The handset has a backlit display and buttons to control the VHF. VHF RT850 :239euros
- The VHF850 AIS is an identical model to the first one, but with the addition of an AIS receiver. This allows the monitoring of vessels in the vicinity with TCPA and CPA collision alarms. Be careful, it is only a receiver, but not a transponder: other boats can't see you.. VHF RT850 AIS: 379 euros
- In its 3 e version, the VHF RT850 NK2 can be connected to a NMEA 2000 network to "talk" with the other on-board instruments circulating on this network. VHF RT850 NK2: 399 euros
A second post kit for 2018
In addition to this already very complete range, Navicom has just added a second handset to this VHF. This second handset kit consists of a keypad handset (identical to the first) and a 12 m cable to connect it to the VHF. This kit will be useful for all boats that want to double their VHF set: on the fly of a launch for example or in the cockpit of a sailing boat. Second set kit : 149 euros
