The MYS Superyacht Award Ceremony 2017 rewarded 3 superyachts that have marked the world of luxury yachting this year. Three superyachts who made their debut in the big bath at the luxury boat show.

Every year, the Monaco Yacht Show is the unmissable boat show for the world's super and megayachts. It is an opportunity for shipyards to showcase their know-how by launching innovative and luxurious units. The MYS Superyacht Award Ceremony rewards each year the yachts that have left their mark on the superyacht sector, through their conception, design or innovation. In 2017, three superyachts have received awards.

These superyachts were chosen by a diverse panel of expert yacht journalists from different countries and different nautical cultures (China, United Kingdom, Netherlands...).

HOME, 49.8 m, 2017 - winner of the MYS/RINA Award 2017 category

The superyacht built by the Dutch shipyard Heesen Yachts has received the award for the most environmentally friendly luxury vessel launched at the Monaco Yacht Show 2017. Home is Heesen Shipyard's first fast-moving yacht with hybrid propulsion.

Arthur Brouwer, CEO of Heesen Yachts, and Perry Van Oossanen, naval architect of Home, received the trophy from Ugo Salerno, CEO of the Italian company RINA (Registro Italiano Navale), a maritime classification society, which determines that a yacht can sail according to the activity for which it was designed. It is also an opportunity to celebrate 10 years of RINA expertise.

The Monaco Yacht Show /RINA Award promotes the superyacht presented at MYS, whose construction complies with the environmental standards established by the Italian classification society.

SEVEN SINS, 52m, 2017 - winner of the 2017 MYS Interior Design Award category

The interior design award is given to the winner's state-of-the-art and refined design. Designed by Officina Italiana Design Sanlorenzo, Seven Sins combines refined elegance and the latest technical innovations for a weight of only 500 tons. Sanlorenzo's largest model made its debut at MYS 2017, a showcase of the Italian shipyard's experience.

The lines of Seven Sins are simple and elegant, with beautiful interior volumes. Light is at the centre of the design, thanks to the large bay windows, while there are numerous living spaces, both inside and outside. This is the first time that the Italian design studio has worked on the design of a megayacht.

JUBILEE, 110 m, 2017 - winner of the 2017 MYS Exterior Design Award and the 2017 MYS Finest new superyacht Award

At the climax of MYS 2017, the luxurious superyacht Jubilee received two awards. An award that distinguished the refined work carried out by the Oceanco shipyard on the aesthetics of her exterior lines and interior design, on her high technical performance and state of the art. It also highlighted the work carried out on its state-of-the-art technical performance.
