The architect Umberto Felci designed for Guido Colnaghi a sailing boat to animate his sailing school. The Circolo Vela Caprera sailing school (in Sardinia, Italy) is the equivalent of the Glénans.
Although a prototype has been made, production has not yet begun. Working with Dufour, the architect finally proposed his plan to the shipyard in La Rochelle to launch mass production. Today, one year after the launch, more than 100 boats have been built. A great commercial success!

By proposing the Drakkar 24 dufour wants to reconnect with a young audience. To make first-time sailors want to go to sea again. The Drakkar 24 has all the assets for this.

An easy and efficient sailboat
With its two large side benches, the crew (maximum 7 people) find a seat protected by a backrest, very reassuring. Here, you don't sit on the gunwales outside the boat. Under the seats, large lockers keep your belongings dry. A volume big enough to store the sails at the end of the navigation.

A yachtsman, as a good family man, will find in this boat a reassuring boat in which the crew can change the sails while being at the foot of the mast, without leaving the safety of the cockpit.

Its modern hull design and slender sail plan make it a lively and fun boat. For the more sporty, a gennaker is rigged on the retractable bowsprit. With this sail, the Drakkar 24 doesn't hesitate to set off on the plan.

A carefree sailboat
Easy to maintain with no cabin and no complex equipment, the Drakkar 24 is the perfect learning boat for the whole family. It will also be a good support for coastal raids. Easily beached, it will be possible to approach the shore without risk for the evening bivouac.

An integral dinghy with the centerboard going back into the hull, the Drakkar 24 can be mounted on a trailer without a crane. Light (870 kg), it can be pulled behind a car without risk.
