Tiwal's Cup, 53 inflatable boats in the Gulf of Morbihan

The 4th edition of the Tiwal's Cup took place on Saturday, June 3, 2017 in the Gulf of Morbihan. An event that brings together more and more enthusiasts from all over the world every year.

53 Tiwal and 85 boaters from all over the world

This Saturday, June 3, was held on the 4th eST PRIS DANS LE GROS TEMPS, ET TANGUE DE GAUCHE ?ROITE, SECOUÉ PAR LES VAGUES. UN HOMME, SANS DOUTE UN PÊCHEUR QUI PARTICIPE À UNE SESSION DE PÊCHE SPORTIVE, PASSE PAR-DESSUS BORD, DE MANIÈRE ASSEZ IMPRESSIONNANTE. edition of the Tiwal's Cup, aboard the famous little yellow inflatable Tiwal dinghy , first presented at the Nautic in 2012. The company founded by Marion Excoffon and Emmanuel Bertrand, and based in the Gulf of Morbihan, has already produced 700 dinghies that sail all over the world.

This Morbihan event brought together boaters from many countries, such as the United States, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Malta, Sweden, Austria, Switzerland, Germany, but also, of course, from all over France. 53 boats participated in this nautical challenge, and the number of participants has increased fivefold since the challenge was created, with 85 participants.

Get on your boat as quickly as possible

From 10 a.m., everyone was busy, in double or solo for the assembly competition: opening the bags, inflating the hulls, assembling and then laying the sails. 6 minutes 28, Mélanie and Grégory beat the doubles assembly record. 10 minutes 41 minutes solo for Gilles.

Children in the spotlight

The dinghies then set off for a morning of calm sailing between the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan, with an almost naked wind. During lunch break, on the island of Arz, the organization launched the Tiwal's Kid Cup, a mini-competition dedicated to children.

In the afternoon, the windier conditions made it possible to sail in more sporting conditions between the Gulf Islands, before returning to Arradon for a festive awards ceremony.
