Why not take as much care in choosing the bedding in your boat as you do at home? Sleeping on a boat is no longer synonymous with a wet berth and an uncomfortable sleeping bag
Victoria Yachting proves otherwise. It is able to define the mattress, the bed base and even the bed linen that suits you best. For 25 years, she has been taking measurements of her clients' boat cabins. She has more than 3500 cabins measured in her files. And if a client arrives with a boat that is not listed, someone from the company will come to take the measurements.

Because measurement is very important to properly fit the mattress to the cabin. Victoria Yachting is able to produce all shapes of mattresses, whatever the material: springs, memory foam, classic foam... But before the mattress, you have to think about the box spring.
On a boat the mattresses are often placed directly on the floor of the lockers. This poses a problem of condensation. This is because the body sleeping on the mattress gives off heat. And the floor is cold. This inevitably leads to the formation of condensation, which is then absorbed by the mattress. This is how the bad smells that are all too often found in boats are formed.

To avoid this, the underside of the mattress should be allowed to breathe. Without necessarily being able to install a slatted base, Victoria Yachting offers an underlay, the Victoria Dry, which is a kind of honeycomb 1.5 cm thick that lets air circulate. This nylon is very easy to cut and can be installed without fixing. Although a slatted bed base provides more comfort, it raises the bedding, which can be uncomfortable depending on the height of the cabin ceiling.

To improve your sleeping comfort without changing all the foams, you can opt for the mattress topper. It exists in 2 versions: a fine version, which notably allows to erase the discomfort of mattress separations when they are in several parts, and a comfort version which allows to improve comfort significantly.

But the mattress would be nothing without the laundry that goes on it. Sheets and duvets can be adapted to the shape of the bed. The choice of colours is vast and remains at the customer's discretion.

All Victoria Yachting's achievements are made in the North of France, an industrial area for fabrics for a long time. The hand-made manufacturing allows to adapt all solutions such as leaving a cushion to access a trunk for example.
