The Vendée Globe from the sea
You wanted to see the start of the Vendée Globe from the sea? It is not too late since you can embark for a cruise on the Atlantic coast, with as a highlight, the start of the Vendée Globe. Erwan Rognant âeuros, director of the company Catavoile29 âeuros, welcomes you on board Faltazi 2, a 40 feet sailing catamaran for a one week cruise.
You will leave Crozon-Morgat, in Finistère (29) on November 3, 2016 to reach the starting line of the Vendée Globe on November 6. On the program of your navigation, stopovers in Belle-Ile and Ile d'Yeu to visit the islands. Additional boardings (for 10 people) will be made from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie on the day of departure.
The return to Brittany will take place on Monday, November 7, with stopovers in Groix or the Glénan, with an arrival in Crozon on November 9.

A comfortable cruise
For one week, eight people will be able to embark comfortably in an 11.98 m catamaran equipped with 4 cabins. For those who are a bit chilly, the catamaran is equipped with a heater, so that you can sail even in winter conditions. Meals are not included in the basic price and are to be organized between participants, but can be taken on board.
Catavoile 29, cruises and walks in the bay of Douarnenez
From April to October, Catavoile29 offers trips from a few days to several days in the bay of Douarnenez and in the Iroise sea. But, Erwan can also rent you sailboats or an electric motorboat without a license or even train you to sail.
