Seakart, the safety of the semi-rigid, the pleasure of jet-skiing

The Seakart 335 is a turbine-powered RIB that will be presented at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2016 (September 6-11). This sea kart allows you to go fast like on a jet-ski, but with the safety and comfort of a boat.

The Seakart 335 is the first semi-rigid turbine engine of the Mauritian company KGTEX. With a length of 3.50 m, the Seakart has sporty lines and a dynamic and modern design. The manufacturer was inspired by motor racing to develop its boat, which will be built in South Africa. Thanks to its turbine, this hybrid boat has the speed of a jet-ski and the safety and comfort of a boat.

In the centre is the steering console, equipped with a steering wheel accelerator. Available in 3 and 5 seats, it is suitable for family rides as well as speeding. Thanks to its real 5 seats, the Seakart is a real annex that is comfortable, ergonomic and pleasant to drive.

The Seakart is powered by the Yamaha 110 hp as standard and 180 hp as an option. It has a 63 litre tank and is capable of towing a wakeboarder or a buoy. Agile, powerful, it can also be used as a sport boat. Thanks to its flat semi-rigid bottom, it can be used in shallow water.

Even if it is not a novelty, the Seakart attracts by its design which makes it look like a small sea kart. Note, however, that a turbine has a lower efficiency than an outboard motor, but will also be slower. The absence of a propeller is a real plus for families, who will be able to easily access the water with the ladder and the small bathing platform.
