Celebrity Infinity liner misses docking


The Celebrity Infinity cruise ship - of the Celebrity Cruises company - 294 m long missed its berth in Alaska and generated approximately 3 million dollars of damage. There were no injuries.

On Friday, June 3, 2016, the cruise ship Celebrity Infinity missed its berth in the port of Ketchikan, Alaska. As he approached the wharf parallel to it, he tore off a gangway from wharf No. 3. The noise is impressive, but no one was injured.

The Infinity belongs to the Celebrity Cruises Millenium series. The vessel measures 294 m and weighs 90,228 tons. This $350 million vessel can accommodate 999 crew members and between 1950 and 2450.
