Maximo Trinidad was in paddle session near Miami on April 7, 2016 when he came face to face with a spinner shark. This is not his first encounter since a shark of the same race had already jumped before his eyes, less than a meter from him. Marked by this meeting he decides this time to bring his camera, accompanied by his friends.
While he is paddling standing on his paddle board, the shark jumps on him, destabilizing the surfer, who falls into the water and hurries up on his board. The scene unfolds very quickly, but it is no less surprising!
The spinner shark (or weaver shark) is found in tropical and warm waters around the world, near the coast and offshore even though it prefers shallow waters. It can reach 3 m long and is characterized by its particular hunting technique. It vertically loads the schools of fish and finishes its race by leaving the water and turning on itself. A priori, it does not present a danger for the human being since these teeth are not adapted to the human flesh.
