This travelling fishing technique from Japan consists in catching a multitude of fish species living in ports or in rocky seaside clusters with small lures. Last year, 90 m of fish were caught in a single day before being released.

A fishing & diving village for the first time in the Nauticalales

The new feature in 2016 will be the creation of a Fishing & Diving village with two demonstration and initiation areas. A first pool of 6x2 m will welcome demonstrations of fishing lures and a pool of 20 x 10 m for initiations and first dives.

Visitors will also find all the equipment (fishing, diving, hunting and underwater photography equipment...) and services (specialised tour operators, magazines, federations, clubs and associations...) related to the fishing sector.

The days will be punctuated by tests, initiations and demonstrations. Finally, boats equipped for fishing and diving will be installed on the square for demonstrations of equipment and on-board electronics (depth sounders, maps, etc.).

For fishermen, the Club Halieutis and Décathlon Aubagne will offer activities around a deep-sea fishing simulator, to be found respectively in the Village des Associations and in the Hall Pêche et Plongée.

Another new feature is a new Sup polo field with cages on each side for team play, on a super inflatable board designed with Twin Tip and mini wings at the front to quickly reverse the direction from one side to the other. Another field will take place within the Nauticalales - unrelated to boating, but rather to Euro 2016 - reserved for children.
