The Younique Seven, the chrome and glass tender with deployable walls

Younique Seven is a tender limousine concept, all chrome and glass, with a futuristic design and a clever concept. Its side walls unfold to create a bathing platform and the roof opens to ventilate the boat.

Younique Yacht designs a range of aluminum and chrome tenders, ranging from 9.5m to 15m in length, fully customizable by their owners: Limousine tender, Open tender, Chase boat and Rib. The first model, the tender to Yalla was nominated for the 2015 Showboats Design Awards, but did not win any awards.

A futuristic and clever tender

In collaboration with design studio Impossible Production ink llc and naval architecture firm Van Oossanen architects, Younique Yacht has just designed the Younique Seven, a very clever tender limousine concept with a nice futuristic look, for 12 people.

This 12-meter-long tender is designed in aluminum, chrome and glass. The glass roof and large windows framing the cabin allow for unobstructed views of the sea and a bright interior. The cockpit is located at the front of the boat, with a customizable dashboard and two driver seats. Electric glass doors separate it from the boat's cabin.

But what makes the Younique Seven so interesting is that the side walls open out to the sea to create a bathing platform for relaxation. The glass roof also opens and has a particularly clever feature. It can be lowered to fit in a tender garage.

Finally, access to the large aft cockpit is through sliding glass doors. There is a large space with two deckchairs, as well as a bathing platform, which can be reached by descending two steps.

The light aluminum and carbon fiber hull allows the tender to reach a top speed of 35 knots and a range of 250 minutes. According to its designers, it would be very stable at sea, for a greater comfort and safety, whatever the state of the sea. It is equipped with two Yanmar 8LV 272 kW/370 hp engines at 3800 rpm.

A clean and bright interior

Inside, the layout is modular and customizable, with a standing height of 2.1m. On each side, there are rails on the floor, on which are embedded custom-made âeuros seats that can be easily turned, tilted or even removed. Thus, they can be turned on the side, to be facing the sea. Removable tables can also complete the set.

The interior is purposely uncluttered, to keep only the essential elements for the comfort of navigation. There is a hot plate, a fridge, an espresso machine as well as a storage cabinet for dishes. An interior and exterior audio system allows you to enjoy music while sailing. The toilet is at the front of the boat.
