The 35m Super Stern is a high performance sloop designed by the Dubois architectural firm, which will see the light of day in 2017. Designed for an owner who is no stranger to the world of racing, this yacht should be a fast contender in the racing arena. However, it will not compromise on the luxury and comfort expected from a family superyacht, oriented for long distance cruising. It will have the latest technology, the sailing performance of a racing yacht and the design of a superyacht.

The hull is built in carbon fiber, epoxy resin with a Nomex sandwich, in vacuum infusion. She will be equipped with a bi-safran and a bulb keel to allow for unrestricted cruising. On deck, there will be a set of racing sails with a mainsail and a genoa. Code zero and gennaker will be hoisted on a large bowsprit.

What makes it unique is its large convertible rear platform that can be deployed at anchor. It rotates 180° to reveal a beach club with a bathing and boarding platform. This area, directly accessible from the owner's cabin allows private access to the water and offers a second rear deck area. Once closed, this palteform hides the 3.30 m tender. The launching is possible thanks to a concealed crane. When sailing, the platform folds completely and closes the cockpit to leave room for a large rear deck.

The interior layout includes a full-width owner's cabin with en suite bathroom. Two double guest cabins and accommodation for two crew members complete the layout.
The yard and interior designer have not yet been chosen, but the Super Stern is expected to be launched by summer 2017. The Dubois architecture firm has extensive experience designing racing yachts from the 1970s and 80s.
