Discover Demon 1414, Frauscher's first habitable star

The Demon 1414 is Frauscher's latest addition and will be unveiled at Düsseldorf in January. This cabin-cruiser with a sporty look is the first habitable star of the range.

The Demon 1414, the new flagship of the fleet, was designed by Kiska and features typical Frauscher design elements such as the vertical bow, fixed swim deck, tinted, frameless windshield and a low profile reminiscent of a sports car. Racy, this 46-footer exudes a sporty look and offers ideal weekend living space.

The carbon fiber side slats that hide the air intakes for the engines are reminiscent of the Frauscher 747 Mirage and the Frauscher 747 Mirage Air. Forward, behind the deck, the console serves as an entry bulkhead for the cabin, located to starboard. Behind, the seats are arranged in a U shape with a table in the center. Finally, a large sundeck that houses a tender garage faces the sea.

Its economical hull was designed by longtime collaborator Harry Miesbauer with a vertical bow and deep-V hull for impressive speeds while maintaining a comfortable ride through the waves.

The converted cockpit allows the captain to sail the Frauscher 1414 at over 40 knots. The stern configuration provides the feeling of steering a much smaller boat with a very sporty feel. The optional bow thrusters and joystick make it easy to dock in tight spaces, while its generous 1,200-liter fuel tank allows for long range.

In the cockpit lounge area there is an outdoor bar with a Teppan Yaki Grill, ice maker, refrigerator and sink, all protected by a retractable bimini. Finally, the large sundeck and swim platform create a pleasant outdoor living space.

The interior design features an asymmetrical layout with a bathroom, kitchenette, a large spacious salon that can be converted into a sleeping area and an owner's cabin in the center of the boat with a dressing room large enough for long trips. With a headroom of 1.96 m and air conditioning and entertainment options, the main cabin becomes a real living space.

Many optional features are available such as joystick with autopilot, Skyhook anchoring system, extendable electric teak gangway coupled with a swim ladder, a range of optional solid metal paints or a tender with garage underneath the sunbathing area to give owners the feeling of being on a superyacht.

The Frauscher Demon 1414 is available with three different engine packages ranging from the Mercruiser 8.2L MAG HO DTS with 430 hp each to the Mercruiser 8.6L racing engines with 520 hp each for maximum speed and power or the economical Volvo Penta D6 with 400 hp each for great range.

The boat is available immediately for order with first deliveries to regular customers in 2016. The first official worldwide presentation will take place at the Dusseldorf Boat Show in January 2016 while the very first trials will take place this fall in the Mediterranean.
