Living on water, the new luxury?

Presented at the Dubai Boat Show International last March, "The Floating Seahorse" is a contemporary floating house, designed and developed in Dubai.

So villa or boat? For its designers, The Floating Seahorse can be compared to a boat, since it will not be built on land. Designed and developed by the greatest European architects, these 42 âeuros floating villas will be part of an even bigger project, "The Heart of Europe", an artificial archipelago, composed of 6 islands, each representing a European place (The Vatican, Paris, Londonâeuros¦). The island will be located only 4 km from the coast of Dubai.

Luxury floating homes

Each Floating Seahorse will have three levels, one submarine, one at sea level and one upper deck. The master bedroom and bathroom will be totally submerged with a breathtaking view of the coral reef and marine life.

On the surface of the water, the building will benefit from a wide opening on the horizon and a view on the sea thanks to large windows, going from the floor to the ceiling. On this floor will be a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room open on a large floating pontoon, as a terrace. The living room, can, on occasion, serve as an extra room for the night thanks to integrated sleeping arrangements.

The upper deck is the place to relax and dine alfresco. This open-air area houses an outdoor shower, lounge area, minibar, kitchenette and glass-bottomed spa.

This luxurious project offers an innovative design and concept for people who want to live in harmony with the sea and will be delivered in 2016.
