Magic wireless LED lights?

Installing watertight light points without having to pierce the hull is what ATMB offers with its induction LEDs. Discover this novelty.

No more wires to power cockpit or skirt lighting? That's not quite right, but the induction LEDs offered by ATMB make you think so. Indeed, to operate these outdoor (or indoor) lights do not require drilling the hull, simply stick the LED against the bulkhead and place a transmitter on the other side. It is connected to the 12 (or 24) volts on board. By induction, it powers the LED.

Thanks to this system, it will be possible to materialize a path at the bottom of the cockpit, suggest the skirt at the back of the boat, mark the companionway or even light the underside of the hull.

Mainly, this drill-free installation eliminates any risk of leakage. They can therefore be installed very close to the water, or even under water! To be at the maximum of their power, the bulkhead must not exceed 19 mm (and not be made of steel). If the bulkhead (or the hull) is thicker, the lighting decreases in power.

This range consists of three light points:

  • a very small one (diameter 28 mm) for step or passageway lighting.
  • a very powerful one to put under the hull (in white, red or green)
  • one for interior ceiling lighting (6 or 12 LEDs)

Prices range from 21 euros for the smallest to 100 euros for underwater lighting. A very competitive price for this type of lighting which is very much in vogue at the moment.

Lighting of steps or passageways

With its very small diameter (28 mm) this mini light can be placed in all points of the boat, inside and outside. It will be very useful to materialize steps of descent or the bottom of the cockpit.
