Grace E is a 73m superyacht launched by the Perini Navi Group in late 2013. 3 e motor yacht of the Italian brand, after Exuma and Galileo G he had the ambition to relaunch the Picchioti brand in the field of large motor yachts. And it's a done deal, since its worldwide presentation in September 2014 at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Grace E wins numerous awards and distinctions.
First of all, the Baccarat Trophy for Best Interior Design in Monaco, thanks to its inimitable interior style, designed by Rémi Tessier.
Then, at the ShowBoats Design Awards 2015 , which took place at the end of February 2015 in Austria, with no less than 4 awards received from the hands of the jury of yacht design experts : Exterior Design & Styling Award âeuros Motor Yacht over 500GT; Interior Design Award âeuros Motor Yacht over 500GT; Naval Architecture Award âeuros Displacement Motor Yacht and Holistic Design Award .
Finally, on May 9, the Perini Navi superyacht won two Neptune Awards at the Boat International World Superyacht Awards 2015 which took place in Amsterdam. The awards ceremony, better known as the Yachting World Oscar Night, recognized that the Grace E had distinctive lines, perfect execution of details and exceptional design quality as well as a superb interior design by Rémi Tessier. The jury, composed of passionate and experienced yacht owners, awarded the Grace E 2 awards: the Motor Yacht of the Year and the Motor yacht with displacement of 1300 tons to 2999 tons (gross tonnage) less than 75 m .
This is a great victory after the success met by its predecessors âeuros Exuma of 50 m and Galileo G of 55 m âeuros which have also won numerous awards. Grace E has the same hull and superstructure design elements that characterize the Picchiotti Vitruvius series. Philippe Briand designed the hull, which allows for efficient, long-distance navigation, thanks to its unique propulsion characteristics. The Grace E has an advanced new generation diesel/electric system with two Azipods equipped with ABB propulsion system.
The operational data collected on its initial âeuro trips, including the âeuro Atlantic crossing, confirm major advances in fuel and energy consumption, long-distance efficiency and a remarkable reduction in noise and vibration.
