The Voiles de Saint-Barth was created in 2010 by François Tolède and Luc Poupon. While at the time, 25 boats were lined up at the start of the race, 2015 will be a record year with 80 participants. A reference on the Caribbean circuit, the Voiles de Saint-Barth combines racing at sea and celebration on land. The regattas will take place on April 14 and 15 and again on April 17 and 18. For four days, boats of all classes âeuros Maxi, Spinnaker, Non-spinnaker, Multihulls and Melges 24 âeuros will compete on courses with natural obstacles, around the island of Saint-Barth. This race of Saint-Barth attracts every year skippers of all nationalities. Thus, we will find American, Dutch, English or Dutch sailors and of course French. Some great names of sailing participate or have participated in this regatta like Loïck Peyron or Bertrand de Broc, who will be present this year.

On land, the race village takes over the quai general de Gaulle in Gustavia and spreads over 1500 m2. In addition to the numerous stands open all day, concerts and shows will be given every evening, from 7 pm, except on Wednesday. A "day-off" will take place on Thursday, April 16 and will allow competitors to enjoy a day of rest and those who wish to do so to enjoy beach activities.
