The new Alen 68 is a 68-foot motor yacht designed by the architectural firm Foster + Partners. Released at the end of 2014, it completes the yacht range of the Turkish shipyard, Alen Yacht. Built with refined materials: bleached oak, leather and white onyx, her design combines the space of a cruising yacht with the simplicity and versatility of a day-boat.
An imposing outdoor space
The Alen 68 offers 20% more volume than most motor yachts of the same size. The deck is a huge open-air space where the furniture has been custom designed. The swim platform houses a garage for a tender for jet skis and paddle boards, hidden under the 4 steps that lead to the deck.
A giant, modular sunbathing area fills the space.
Right behind, there is an open-plan kitchen and a large dining area.
Finally, at the front of the boat is the cockpit with classic wheel, computer equipment and cameras for more visibility. It is possible to seat a whole family next to the driver thanks to the large bench seat.
A removable black bimini can partially or totally protect the lounge area from the sun or bad weather.
Purity and roundness for the interior design
The interior design breaks with tradition as the flowing contours of the hull are not hidden by furniture. Instead, they are exposed and reveal the smooth lines of the yacht. The flexible interior allows for up to 3 cabins.
A staircase leads to the bow of the boat, where a large circular lounge is installed, with soft rounded shapes, reminiscent of the waves. Here, the walls and ceiling are covered in white leather as is the large circular sofa. Light wood accents frame the seat and serve as a common thread. In the middle of the room, there is a large white lacquered block, from floor to ceiling, in which a television screen is embedded. Neon lights on the ceiling add a cozy touch. Private niches allow you to relax in complete privacy. 12 people can sit in this room. Low windows allow a view on the outside.

The stern houses the master suite with double bed and leather chaise longue, floating in the space. Here too, the color white reigns supreme and leather covers part of the curved structure of the hull. Neon lights installed in the grooves bring a soft light. Softness, cocoon and well-being are the values given by the design of this room. At the foot of the bed is the shower room.
The kitchen and the bathroom are in the center of the boat.
