The Horizon 47, a new yacht from Allures, will be unveiled at the Cannes 2025 boat show. This 47-foot sailing yacht, designed for long-distance cruising, combines a bi-safran aluminum hull with a lifting daggerboard, and a composite deck. Its design, by Berret-Racoupeau, emphasizes visibility from inside and safety when moving around on deck.
A panoramic view for the navigator
Whether at anchor or underway, the ability to observe the environment remains a decisive criterion for many ocean-going yachtsmen. The Horizon 47 features an interior layout with large glass surfaces for a wider field of vision. This approach is designed to enhance visual comfort and safety, particularly when on watch at sea.

Optimized bridge traffic
The deck layout has been designed to limit obstacles and facilitate movement from the cockpit to the bow. Wide, unobstructed side decks and the layout of the maneuvers ensure safe passage, even in rough seas.
Mixed aluminum/composite construction
As with the shipyard's other models, the Horizon 47 is based on a shaped aluminum hull, renowned for its sturdiness and ability to withstand ocean cruising. The composite deck lighten the structure and improve thermal and acoustic insulation. This choice of materials meets both performance and durability requirements.
Integral bi-safran dinghy
The hull plan incorporates two rudders and a lifting daggerboard, allowing access to shallow anchorages while maintaining good offshore stability. This configuration offers great sailing versatility, from coastal cruising to ocean crossings.
The Berret-Racoupeau touch
Historic collaborators of the shipyard, Olivier and Isabelle Racoupeau have created a design that combines Allures' own aesthetic codes with recent developments in ergonomics and habitability. Their work results in optimized volumes, bright living areas and a cockpit designed for long voyages.
