The Columbus Atlantique 43 is the latest addition to the Atlantique range, a series of superyachts designed by Columbus Yachts and the Italian design studio Hot Lab. At 43 meters long, she offers a harmonious synthesis of fluid exterior design and luminous interior spaces, creating a unique experience for yachtsmen.
A design inspired by nature
The Atlantique 43 is distinguished by its curves inspired by the natural elements, evoking a pebble sculpted by the water or a protective cocoon. Each deck follows a fluid line, from the point of the bow to the open stern. The use of natural materials and the continuity between exterior and interior spaces reinforce this impression of harmony.
The stern, designed to maximize contact with the sea, transforms into a vast beach club thanks to folding wings. This concept is further enhanced by a glass-walled swimming pool, located just fifty centimetres above water level, allowing immersion in the elements.
A bright, uncluttered interior
Inside, the Columbus Atlantique 43 is characterized by spaciousness and exceptional luminosity. The main deck's floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside.
The main salon, designed as a winter garden, is one of the yacht's centerpieces. Furnished with ivory linen sofas and light wood tables, it combines comfort with contemporary simplicity. Noble materials, such as brushed American walnut and marble, add a touch of elegance without ostentation.
A philosophy of cultural fusion
The Columbus Atlantique 43 reflects a design approach based on the fusion of cultures. Oriental inspiration can be found in subtle details, such as the Tatami-finished parquet floors and the equipment incorporating a karaoke area, highly prized in Asia. These elements coexist with refined Italian craftsmanship, embodied by the use of Frette fabrics and furniture signed by such great houses as Fendi and Flexform.
Optimized conviviality areas
The yacht's outdoor facilities cater for a variety of needs, from informal breakfasts to sunset cocktails. The upper deck features a lounge area with modular sofas and a teak table for up to fourteen guests.
The choice of mobile furniture on the main decks reflects a desire for flexibility: spaces can be quickly adapted to the wishes of owners or guests.
Integrated, sustainable design
Hot Lab, the inspiration behind the entire Atlantique range, is based on a philosophy known as Architecture for Voyagers. This approach emphasizes a unified design of interior and exterior spaces, respecting the yacht's primary function: a place to live as much as a sailing object.
The choice of sustainable materials and the optimization of volumes also reflect an awareness of environmental and aesthetic issues.
