A new brand of luxury motor catamarans
Fountaine Pajot, a major player in the pleasure catamaran market, and Couach, a shipyard renowned for its custom-built catamarans, have joined forces to create a new brand of motor catamarans. The aim is to offer a luxury range focused on large units. As a reminder, the Gujan-Mestras-based shipyard has been building Fountaine Pajot's motor range since 2022. Fountaine Pajot will keep its smaller boats in the catalog, while the two largest models, the Power 67 and 80, will be transferred to the new range.
First model announced: Code 07
3D images of a new model have already been unveiled, those of Code 07, a 16.40 m-long catamaran designed by Barret Racoupeau, already behind the Power 67 and 80. From the first images, the design is modern, with an all-glass superstructure and inverted windshield. The hulls are also marked by several stylized windows.
The cockpit design also has a modern feel, marked by several rounded steps. Sunbathing and dining areas are installed both on the foredeck and aft of the boat. A flybridge protected by a hard-top provides additional outdoor living space.
Inside, the Code 07 is described as bright and designed for ease of movement. It is available in two layout versions. The Maestro version has 3 cabins, including a large owner's suite with private bathroom. The cabin can be enlarged with an extension that can be converted into a children's cabin or a large dressing room. Two further double cabins with en-suite bathrooms complete the layout. The Quatuor version is more suited to chartering, with four double cabins and en-suite bathrooms. A skipper's cabin with separate toilet is fitted in the forward hull.
As standard, the Code 07 will be powered by two Yanmar engines, each rated at 450 hp, with the option of a more powerful version.
