The fifth season of SailGP is shaping up to be a tour de force, with races around the world, new teams and new venues. The 2024/2025 calendar reveals 14 events spread over five continents, from Dubai to Abu Dhabi.

A spectacular start and finish in the United Arab Emirates
The season will kick off in Dubai with the Emirates Dubai Sail Grand Prix (November 23-24, 2024) and conclude in Abu Dhabi (November 29-30, 2025). These events will showcase team performance in a variety of weather conditions and offer exceptional hospitality.
Exploring the southern hemisphere
Teams will travel to New Zealand and Australia for summer competitions. The championship will visit Auckland (January 18-19, 2025) and Sydney (February 8-9, 2025), two iconic sailing destinations. Auckland will host the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix for the first time, followed by the sixth edition in Sydney.
Back to North America
Los Angeles and San Francisco will host the March 2025 races, offering iconic landscapes as a backdrop. The West Coast of the United States will be in the spotlight with events in Los Angeles (March 15-16, 2025) and San Francisco (March 22-23, 2025). These competitions will showcase the talents of sailors in dynamic and spectacular ports.
Start in Brazil and back to New York
The Brazil Sail Grand Prix will mark the debut of the Brazilian team, followed by an iconic race in New York. Brazil will host its first event (May 3-4, 2025) with the new Brazilian team. The regattas will then move to New York for the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix (June 7-8, 2025).
A European summer 2025
Europe will host events in Great Britain, Italy, Germany and Switzerland. Summer competitions include the Great Britain Sail Grand Prix (July 19-20, 2025), the Italy Sail Grand Prix in Taranto (September 6-7, 2025), and premieres in Geneva, Switzerland (September 20-21, 2025) and Germany (August 16-17, 2025). These destinations will offer unique sailing conditions and varied landscapes.
