New design, new deck layout
The BWA Premium range is composed of three models of 30, 34 and 40 feet, available in outboard and inboard versions for the two largest ones and all equipped with a cabin. For the 2023 season, Ribitaly, owner of the BWA brand, is relaunching the Flyer range, a historic semi-rigid range, with the first model, Flyer 36, an 11.5-meter semi-rigid with a modern look and a different design, especially the bow, which is flatter and more imposing. The hull also comes from new molds. These first images show a model that is both sporty and comfortable.
The emphasis was placed on the layout of the deck area and the numerous equipment, with a focus on comfort and safety. The design was entrusted to Lucca Machi, from LM Design Studio, already responsible for semi-rigid boats for Joker Boats or Nuova Jolly.
"With the new Flyer 36, BWA wants to respond to an increasingly demanding clientele, looking for modern RIBs, with incomparable design, functionality and habitability. The space on board is really generous at the stern as well as at the bow, the cabin is also very spacious thanks to its retractable staircase system, it offers 4 beds" explains Stefania Moneda, in charge of the brand's communication.
An arrangement for the cruise
The Flyer 36 has a large rear platform on which are installed two outboard engines with a maximum power of 700 hp. The total power recommended by the shipyard is 500 horsepower. A sundeck with storage locker faces the sea. The cockpit, secured by polyester reinforcements with handrails on the hypalon floats, offers an L-shaped bench seat on starboard with a dining table. The access to the boat, which is on the port side, is secured by a gate. A galley unit faces the saloon and supports the optional rigid hard top. At the front, two pilot and co-pilot seats complete the spacious cockpit. The front deck, which can be accessed through walkways with steps, is entirely dedicated to sunbathing with a backrest on the windshield.
Below deck, there is a saloon that can be converted into a double berth in the bow and a second double berth in a mid-cabin in the center. A bathroom with shower and toilet as well as storage space complete the space. This configuration confirms the cruising program for which the boat was designed. The price is 235,000 euros HT.
