Bavaria C46, a versatile sailboat to configure according to your program

Bavaria launches a new sailboat of almost 15 m length, the Bavaria C46. This versatile model can be configured according to the owner's desires thanks to numerous options.

A characteristic shell of the C-Line range

After the launches of the C38 and C42 in 2021, Bavaria is renewing its C-Line range with the C46, which succeeds the C45. This new model of sailboat, 14.86 m long and 4.70 m wide, is signed, like the rest of the range by Cossutti Yacht Design. The monohull adopts the characteristic hull of the shipyard, with a chine, which provides a gain of space inside.

Options to navigate alone or with others

For short-handed, single-handed or family sailing, the C46 offers up to six optional winch positions, over 100 m2 of upwind sail area and an optional gennaker and Code 0. The cockpit, with its tilting transom, is equipped with two steering wheels and side benches. The water sports equipment is stored within easy reach in the Bavaria B-Box, accessible directly from the swim platform.

A cabin layout to be configured

Depending on the coastal or offshore cruising program, the Bavaria C46 can be configured with a minimum of 3 cabins and up to 5. There is also a 4-cabin configuration with 4 private bathrooms or a 3-cabin configuration with an additional cabin at the companionway. This one can be used as a storage room. From the 3D renderings, the interior appears bright thanks to the hull windows and numerous deck panels.

A versatile sailboat

Marc Diening, CEO of Bavaria Yachts explains: "A 15m sailboat today needs to be much more versatile and can no longer be categorized in classic categories like performance, family cruiser, charter or owner's sailboat. With the C46, we have found the balance that customers expect from a sailboat of this size with many well thought-out solutions."

The Bavaria C46 will take its first bow in the first half of 2023. More information will be revealed at Boot 2023 in Düsseldorf.
