A well protected cockpit with storage
The Rhea 29 has the same lines that have made the shipyard successful, with a frigate hull and a tulip-shaped bow. Access to the boat is via the starboard skirt, equipped with a swim ladder and a cockpit door. The latter is rather spacious, and equipped with the same bench seat on rail as its big brother. This one moves from the back to the front, to be able to raise the engine. The hook is now located inside the trunk to avoid injuries. A bench seat on the port side and a footstool on the rear complete the seating, under which are hidden storage compartments. A removable table turns the whole into a saloon. An additional locker is located upstream from the wheelhouse.

Safe travel
The gangways, although narrow, have a good height and are secured by a high balcony. The foredeck has a large anchor locker, and a cabin roof that can be converted into a sunbathing seat, and is equipped with handrails.

A well thought-out cockpit
The wheelhouse with three glass panels on the front gives the Rhéa 29 a somewhat strict look. Inside, the model presented at the Grand Pavois was fully optional. Thus, it had a pilot seat with a tilting backrest to create a square, instead of a pilot seat and a co-pilot seat. The cockpit has a nice surface with a dashboard that can accommodate the electronics. A door on the starboard side, next to the pilot, allows easy access to the deck during maneuvers.

A fairly narrow square and an optional kitchen
The saloon on the starboard side can accommodate 2 people for a meal around a folding table. Comfortable, the space is however quite limited, since the boat is less than 8 m long. The fridge installed under the rear seat is also optional, as is the small kitchen on the port side with stove, sink and storage.

A floor box positioned in the center of the wheelhouse serves as both a technical box and storage space.

A small double cabin with separate toilet
The forward point offers a U-shaped saloon that can be transformed into a double berth with an additional cushion. A deck hatch provides ventilation, which can be covered with fabric planks, a rather clever detail. The wheelhouse also has curtains to shade the space for the night. The cockpit table fits against the toilet wall, without taking up too much space.
The separate bathroom has a toilet, a sink and storage. Although the shipyard's intention is to offer an entry-level model, the Rhéa 29 Timonier offers a very comfortable layout, despite its size, particularly in the cabin where it can be difficult to move around.

An open version for day sailing
Like its big brother, the Rhea 29 is available in an open version, with a hard top option reinforced with a stainless steel core for rigidity. The shipyard has chosen to share the deck, on which the wheelhouse is grafted in the closed version. This simplifies its tooling, while maintaining the cabin's below-deck layout.

Common deck plan
While some elements are shared, notably the foredeck and the cockpit seat, a wooden folding seat is installed on the port side. The central cockpit is equipped with a polyester block with a bench seat in the bow and a galley in the stern. The cabin remains similar.

Outboard motorization
Regarding the engine, the Rhea 29 receives a single outboard engine with a maximum power of 300 hp. The shipyard recommends a 300 horsepower Mercury Verado or a 300 horsepower Suzuki with double propeller. Several packages and options allow the Rhéa 29 to be adapted for fishing, relaxing The standard power is 250 hp.
