A new Italian shipyard for a range of walkarounds in pure Mediterranean style
Elegance Yachts was born in early 2021 in the province of Lecce, in southern Italy. The shipyard's goal is to create luxury walkarounds for cruising or to serve as yacht tenders. The first model, the E 44 V, is a 44-foot (14 m) open hull with elegant lines and pure Mediterranean style, reminiscent of the style of the greatest models of the builder, also Italian Invictus Yachts. This elegant yacht will be presented at the Palma Boat Show on April 28, 2022 before making her French debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival in September of the same year. Dealers are already in place in Spain and Portugal, but the shipyard is developing its network in France, Greece, Germany and other European countries.
XXL bathing platform, inverted bow with automotive style
The E 44 V is distinguished by its very large rear platform covered with teak. Submersible, it facilitates access to the boat and mooring maneuvers, and transforms into a bathing platform when anchored. It also gives access to the garage for the tender, hidden under the imposing sundeck equipped with handrails. The central area of the bulwarks unfolds to create balconies on the water. Another feature of the model is the inverted bow covered with a stainless steel grill for an automotive style.
A classic deck plan for a comfortable cruise
The sundeck is equipped with adjustable and folding backrests that create a dining area for up to 8 people with two teak tables and a facing bench seat. Behind, two kitchen cabinets offer a cooktop, sink, worktop and in the lower area, a refrigerator and ice maker.
The cockpit has a large dashboard that integrates a home automation system to control all the onboard equipment. It offers two pilot chairs and a co-pilot chair. The whole is protected by a large hard-top covered with solar panels. With a surface of 9.4 m2, they allow to feed the electrical system of the board.
The foredeck is accessed via the gangways protected by a high bulwark. The latter offers a double sunbathing area on top of the roof, also protected by handrails with a double seat on the front. By positioning a table in the center, we obtain another dining area with the bow bench seat.
Three versions of interior design
The interior, made bright by the large hull windows, offers three different layouts:
- Owner's cabin + bathroom + dinette
- Owner's cabin + bathroom + dining area + kitchenette
- Owner's cabin + bathroom + dinette + guest cabin
Two engine options and a range to come
The Elegance Yachts E 44 V is offered with two propulsion configurations from Volvo Penta:
The manufacturer announces a cruising speed of 25 knots and a maximum speed between 37 and 42 knots. Approved in category A, the E 44 V can accommodate up to 12 people on board. The shipyard is already working on the next model, the E 48 V, with an overall length of 16.10 m.
