The power of a tireless team member
EWINCHER is capable of performing all the required manoeuvres on boats from 35 to 55 feet, including mounting a 120 kg crew member to the mast. EWINCHER delivers 210 watts of useful energy and a torque of 80 Newton/m thanks to state-of-the-art technology:

- Brushless outrunner motor
- A high-efficiency gear system (85%)
By way of comparison, a crew member in very good shape is capable of delivering 200W for a maximum of 30 seconds.
A large autonomy integrated in the crank handle
EWINCHER has a high-performance 25V and 3000mA Lithium ion battery. It gives the navigator an autonomy of at least one day of navigation on boats under 45 feet. The battery is removable, so users sailing on larger boats have the option of having a second battery.
Examples of use on a 40-foot cruiser :
- Hoist the mainsail 3 times + take up the genoa on 35 tacks
- Mast a man weighing 85 kg 3 times over a height of 15 m
The charging time of the battery is 1h30, it can be charged on 12V DC or 110-220V AC. A full battery charge consumes 6 Ah of service batteries. That is 1.5 to 2% of the capacity of a 370 Ah fleet.
Three modes of use depending on the use
- Electric mode: for maximum assistance, the Ewincher engine does all the work.
- Manual mode: to make an adjustment, as with a conventional crank handle.
- Combination mode: for exceptional gearing speed
Precise speed control
EWINCHER's control knobs allow optimum control of the driving speed. You can choose to use the low or high speed of your winch and can vary the speed from 15 to 140 rpm.
Light and compact
The crank is lightened to the maximum. It weighs only 2.2 kg. With the same length as a standard winch crank handle, EWINCHER can be adapted to any deck layout.
An integrated torque limiter
For your safety and to avoid material breakage, EWINCHER has a torque limiter. You choose the limit not to be exceeded, EWINCHER will not be able to force beyond it. You can easily adjust this limit from the EWINCHER application available on all smartphones.
