Scoop / Show your solidarity, take part in the swingers regatta

After this long period of confinement, which forced some couples to put up with each other on a daily basis, sometimes making married life difficult, the federation had the idea of organising a completely new type of regatta.

Living 24 hours a day in confinement with a husband or wife can sometimes be divisive. So to take a breather, the FFE (French Swingers Federation) has decided to create a new kind of regatta: the swingers regatta.

The idea is to sail in pairs, but with an exchange of spouses. Apart from a good breath of frivolity, this will also help to avoid tensions on board within the couples.

"We held our board meeting earlier this week and all our members support this initiative to warm hearts and bodies", explains Francis Boutdehors, President of the FFE.

Boaters, you will be able to enjoy the sea in a relaxed way, while remaining concentrated and tense, with your senses on alert to thwart the traps of the banana course, specially designed for this five to seven which will take place at the beginning of July. To keep the canvas of time, the crew's wardrobe will need to be adjusted.

Sailors, we advise you to hold the helm firmly for this hand-to-hand for a few hours. Do not release the pressure and stay under tension?! If there is no string on board the boat, the crew member in charge of the piano will be careful not to get the string wrong when sending out the spinnaker and to use the arm to adjust the spinnaker pole to the millimetre .

To make us live this exchange from the inside, a camera and drone budget of 100?000 euros was evoked. The latter, installed at the heart of the action, will broadcast live the positions chosen by the crew to win. Access to the cabin will also be forbidden, as we have lived in confinement for too long, not forgetting that it can sometimes be difficult to access certain cramped corners and therefore to film them.

The FFE has already launched a big search for partners and Jacquie and Michel are already on the way to set up a équipage?! From there to say thank you who..
