Cristec, YPower chargers in ships

The French company Enag, which produces the chargers in the Cristec range, works with many large OEM projects. For 2019, it is included in the Accastillage-Diffusion catalogue with the YPower range. This will make it easy for boaters to find alternatives or installations for their boats.

When you use a product with serenity, you appreciate being able to change it to a device of the same brand. This is the case with Cristec battery chargers, which are installed in shipyards as original equipment on sailboats and motor boats.

The battery chargers in the YPower range are designed on the basis of a high-frequency switching converter that transforms the alternating signal into a direct, regulated and filtered voltage. They can operate as battery chargers and DC power supplies.

Up to 3 parks

The battery charger operates fully automatically, after prior selection of the battery type and charging type. It can remain permanently connected to the batteries and does not need to be disconnected when starting the engine, as it is equipped with an anti-return distributor.

The device delivers a voltage suitable for charging 1, 2 or 3 separate batteries (integrated charge distributor, battery separation). The charger can deliver a maximum of the nominal current distributed on all the outputs used according to the connected battery banks.

Intelligent charging

The YPower charger delivers a 5-state charge curve: Boost (charge phase), absorption, floating and automatic weekly recycling. This Refresh phase optimizes the battery life. On the front panel of the device, illuminated indicators indicate the operating mode of the charger.

The charger is configured with switches according to the type of batteries connected (gel, AGM, Lead calcium tin...). A total of 11 load settings are available. You can also choose the Boost and refresh functions. On the rear of the device there is a connector to connect a temperature sensor which allows the compensation of the absorption voltage and the floating voltage according to the ambient temperature of the battery room.

YPower chargers are available in 12 volts (16, 25, 40 or 60 A) and 24 volts (12, 20 or 30 A).
