Waterproof backpack hPa, for safe baroud

Here is a video presentation of the new hPa waterproof bag distributed for boating by Navicom. Made from military equipment, the hPa bag is very strong and particularly practical.

Usually, waterproof bags are struts with a top closure that rolls over itself and fits with a clip. It is efficient, waterproof, but not very practical to get your things from the bottom of the bag.

The new hPa and a backpack developed for the army. It uses an IP68 waterproof zip. It can hold under 2 m of water for one hour. To make sure as you can see on the video, the bag is inflated with air and it does not deflate by pressing it down. When you open the zip, even slightly, you can hear the air under pressure escape.

This bag has a valve to inflate it with the mouth and fill it with air. This offers 3 advantages:

  • Full of air it will float if it falls into the water
  • The air maintains its shape when worn on its back
  • The air protects business indoors from shocks

In this 25-litre volume, you can store your laptop safely. Inside there is also an ad hoc pocket to protect it. All around the outside of the bag are the different fastening systems developed for the army, to attach all their accessories.

By boat, it is the ideal accessory to land in a dinghy or even in a paddle. Indeed, in a backpack it leaves your hands free, and its total waterproofness protects all your equipment well.
