Manta 680, an even more versatile 2018 version

The Manta 680 2018 edition

The first version of the Manta 680 a semi-rigid, semi-rigid, adventurous machine, developed for fishing and fast moving was released in 2011. In 2018, the yard gave it a new lease of life with a new hull and an improved deck layout.

In addition to the Helios range - semi-rigid Mediterranean and idleness - the French shipyard Pro Marine also offers a range of semi-rigid from 5.50 m to 6.80 m with a barge style: the Manta range.

The Manta 680, the yard's largest model with an overall length of 6.80 m - was released in 2011. After several dozen units sold, the yard decided to give it a new lease of life. It is therefore a new version that was presented in December 2018 in Paris.

The hull has been reworked with a pronounced V up to the back of the hull. This improves wave passage and passenger comfort. The double leaning-post was reassembled and equipped with a handrail on the back with a fargue. The seat lifts forward and unveils a storage compartment. The latter now offers more seating comfort and more storage within reach.

The console has been retained, but the windshield has been changed to provide more protection for the pilot and his passenger. It is always framed by a stainless steel handrail. For more comfort, the yard has also added a stainless steel footrest. The front of the console opens to offer another storage compartment.

Before, there was no saddlery on the Manta 680. The 2018 version therefore offers the possibility of opting for a cushion on the anchor locker.

On the back, the bench seat has been modified for more convenience. It always turns into a sunbathing system, a system that was appreciated on the previous model. The bench can now be removed to provide more cockpit space, for example for fishing.

Another new feature is the water-skiing roll bar (optional), which makes it possible to extend the Manta's sailing programme to water sports.

A large part of the fittings has been replaced by more qualitative elements to extend the life of the boat. Finally, the yard retains its customisation offer with a wide choice of colours for the hull, floats or upholstery. In terms of engine power, the Manta 680 receives 140 to 200 HP.
