When the extension cord gets beautiful...

When you have a beautiful boat, you take care of the details. To offer yacht owners a luxury extension cord, Tecmar came up with the idea of wrapping it with multi-braid rope. For an exceptional finish!

In addition, it is also necessary to connect your boat to the electrical terminal of the dock. As on-board energy needs increase, connecting to terrestrial electricity means you don't have to draw from batteries. This is all the more true if you are sailing on a boat equipped with air conditioning, which requires a 220-volt power supply.

In partnership with the rope manufacturer Lancelin, Tecmar is launching an extension of a new typer. It is a hybrid extension that combines the sheath of a mooring line with an electrical wire. To ensure that the extension is not limited to a simple plastic wire that always ends up marking the gelcoat on the hull or the teak on the deck, the extension is wrapped by the sheath of a prestigious range mooring line (multi-braid).

Today the prototype we have discovered is anthracite grey, but the final model will also have a red yarn to distinguish it from the classic mooring lines.

This type of extension cord is manufactured on request with one or two electrical wires depending on the configuration required. The length is also variable. The price also depends on all the ingredients...
