Quicksilver Activ 675 Bowrider, but with cabin!

Quicksilver continues to develop its Bowrider range with the Activ 675 Bowrider, a daycruiser of only 6.48 m, but equipped with a cabin to envisage a night on board and equipped with a spacious deck layout, thanks to its port side passage.

A sport boat for water sports

Quicksilver launched its bowrider range december 2017 with the Activ 605 and 755 Bowrider. The 675 Bowrider therefore falls between these two models. This sporty model takes the lines of the previous models, but receives a new hull specially developed to receive Mercury's new V6. It receives from 115 to 225 HP for a sporty or water sports program. In fact, water skiing or wakeboarding enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the new Euro "Monster Tower" wakeboarding tower, an option added following customer requests.

Other options such as Zipwake Dynamic Control (a kind of flap) and Active Trim make navigation easier and increase power and stability.

A spacious boat for a long day at sea

The cockpit area is versatile with a choice of a dining area with L-shaped bench seat (optional table) or a sunbathing area with lowered table (sunbathing option). The aft backrest tilts aft to provide an XXL relaxation area. An optional folding seat on the starboard side provides additional seating around the table and can be stowed in the bulwark so as not to obstruct the passage on board. Thanks to a good freeboard height, the cockpit is safe when sailing and at anchor.

Unlike the two previous models, the console has been moved to the starboard side. This provides more space on board and easier movement, but also a cabin with easy access. The starboard helm station is modern and elegant, with instrumentation and mounting space for a 9" GPS/chartplotter, and enough room for other navigation instruments. Two seats mounted on a polyester base complete the helm station package.

Access to the cabin is easy, in front of the passenger seat, and there are 2 berths inside, and an optional sliding marine toilet, refrigerator and sink. This small cabin will be used as a sheltered space to change clothes because the headroom is limited to the simple volume of the console. Access to the bow is easy via the port side passage, closed by a gate. In this space, there is a drainage system to keep the cockpit dry.

The bowrider has two facing benches and an optional sunbathing cushion transforms the space into a second lounging area. Storage space is available throughout the boat for added comfort. Finally, an optional bimini protects the cockpit from the sun. This side walkway, which allows access to the bowrider, is a design that we have seen on the American models of the Sea Ray shipyard for about 2 years, and which has since been adopted by other shipyards such as Quicksilver or soon Bénéteau with its Flyer 10 .

Comfort pack

The Activ 675 Bowrider is available with the Smart Edition which includes the starboard folding bench seat, cockpit shower, ski pole, refrigerator, teak cockpit table and LED sundeck and courtesy lighting. The SMART Edition also includes the Electronics Pack which offers the Simrad NSS evo3 9" GPS, Fusion Stereo and Mercury VesselView Link digital interface.
