150 and 175 hp Suzuki, fuel savings in sight

With more torque and less fuel consumption, the new Suzuki DF150A and DF175A set the bar for outboard performance. Engines that are coming on the market for the 2019 season.

The Japanese outboard manufacturer is launching two new 150 and 175 hp outboard engines. Built on the same base, the DF150A and DF175 A are distinguished by their performance and energy efficiency compared to older models.

To achieve these results, Suzuki has integrated new technologies such as high compression ratio, Lean Burn and semi-direct air intake into its engines.

On the accessorization side, these engines are equipped with a water detection system that protects the engine from any failure caused by the penetration of water into the fuel. These models also feature Easy Start, which allows the boat's pilot to start the engine by simply turning the key without having to hold it, and the Suzuki Troll Mode system, which ensures stable driving at low speeds, ideal for troll fishing.

These 2 new products are presented at the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle 2018 in their 2 white and black colours.
