At the Grand Pavois de La Rochelle 2017, the Spanish MMW (Mestral Marine Works) shipyard presented the MMW40, a racing yacht designed for the 12 m IRC. This year the site returns with a MMW33 (10 m).

Like its big brother, this sailboat is designed to be fast. The controlled infused sandwich construction ensures a displacement of 3.4 t in the end. But with a long deckhouse and fittings, this sailboat will be as comfortable as it is efficient in regattas. The plan is based on the drawing board of the Italian Michele Molino, who wanted an elegant and efficient design.

Like all the boats in the range, this MMW33 can be adapted to its owner. Small production allows a margin of manoeuvre on the boat's layout. Moreover, this one is built in the "Mini" spirit (the site managers come from this offshore racing sector): the MMW33 sails throughout the summer with various skippers who will do a complete regatta programme to share their impressions and feedback. The site already announces differences between this first proto and the following models.

A regatta sailboat available for 128,000 euros excluding VAT to be discovered in September 2018 at the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle.
