The NJ 700 is getting a new lease of life after passing through the hands of the young designer Matteo de Francesco, to whom we owe the last Prince 33 Sport Cabin. This 7-metre model is equipped with a new hull - similar to that of the Prince range - but also with a new deck layout.

Nuova Jolly renews its NJ range with the launch of the new NJ 700 in December 2017. This model made in hypalon already existed, but has been completely redesigned, with an even more V-shaped hull and a completely new deck layout. "The NJ 700 is not an improved version of the old model, but a brand new boat. Its hull is similar to the hull of the Prince's. The boat is also wider than the previous model with a width of 3 meters instead of 2.80 meters." explains Sébastien Frémont, Director of French Boat Market, French importer of the Italian brand. Its overall length of less than 7 m exempts it from hull francization tax.

The NJ 700 is inspired by the old model, but also by the Prince 21, in terms of hull, but the NJ 630 in terms of deck plan, with a simple and streamlined layout to ensure the boat is light.

Access to the vessel is via a side passageway on the port side, which was not found on the old model. The aft cockpit receives 2 facing bench seats with a table whose ends can be folded out to accommodate more people or to transform the space into a sunbathing area. Under the aft bench seat is a large storage box, while the opposite bench seat houses a cooler. Setting up the sundeck is very simple, as all you have to do is remove the leg from the table and simply place the tray on the bench seats to increase the comfort of the space.

The bolster seat can accommodate 2 people and houses a kitchen under the seat with a stove sink. The console is deliberately narrow to make it easier to move around on board and is equipped with a retractable seat at the front. Large handrails on the console and on the bolster make it possible to stand while navigating and to move around safely on board.

The bow is fitted with a V-shaped seat, which converts into an additional sunbathing or dining area. The NJ 700 is equipped with an electric windlass with fibre nose and hydraulic steering as standard. The engine power is from 150 to 250 hp max, and the recommended power is 200 hp. Two platforms frame the engine (with a swim ladder on the port side) and can be enlarged as an option.

Finally, the NJ 700 is proposed with a new option, a stainless steel roll bar with reinforcement and high point (towing ring) with integrated bimini. An equipment that was not previously offered.

Price: 38,763 euros bare hull/59,036 euros with 200 bhp Yamaha.
