Tired of getting your hands dirty docking on a pendant? Here is the buoy that revolutionizes this type of mooring, very popular especially in the Mediterranean. The Clik Gold connected buoy appears as if by magic at the moment of your mooring. All you have to do is retrieve it and hang on to the pendulum.
The pendulum is the rope that connects the mother chain to the dock. When you arrive at the port, to moor upside down, you have to follow it from the quay to bring it to its bow. This rope, which spends its time in the mud at the bottom of the harbour, is always dirty, often colonized by shells. Following it is the assurance of a dirty hand and a dirty deck. The Clik Gold buoy solves this problem.

How does it work?
As you leave your berth and drop the pendulum, simply attach your small Clik Gold buoy to it. It will sink along with the pendulum and wait quietly at the bottom of the water for your return to port.
At the end of your day's sailing, all you will have to do is "recall" your buoy to make it appear on the surface. To do this, the buoy is connected by an ultrasonic system emitted from your boat. This message - coded and secured so that everyone does not use your buoy - releases the buoy, which rises to the surface by unrolling a strap. All you have to do is retrieve the buoy with a gaff and bring it back on board.
Pulling on the strap, you end up with your pendulum that only needs to be hit with the cleat. Without getting your hands dirty!

Mechanics and electronics
The Clik Gold buoy is self-contained. It carries its own batteries which are recharged by solar panels installed on top of the buoy. This is why the buoy must be left on deck when not in use. So that it can be charged once at the bottom of the water... The buoy also has a motor which is used to roll up and unroll the strap. A light is also activated to locate the buoy at night. The power supply is also used to operate the on-board electronics, including the ultrasonic remote detection system.

A gift for his boat
This smart buoy is an idea of an Italian company PME Mare which has protected it with international patents. This product is distributed in France by STF Europe, manufacturer of the famous Spade anchor. The complete model with magnetic gaff and remote control is proposed at 699,00 euros.
