Web series / Holidays for Nomad Sailing in Cape Verde

Before the transat, Nomade Voile makes a stopover in Cape Verde. The opportunity for all the crew to enjoy these charming and bewitching islands. Marie, Dario and Oil (the dog) make us enjoy beautiful images on these islands.

Nomade Voile has just spent 3 weeks in Cape Verde between São Vicente São Nicolau and Santo Antão.

A very welcoming country that the crew knows well and likes very much. Sailing is not a restful experience, as the winds are very changeable as they approach the islands due to the venturi effect. The wind can blow at 20 knots with gusts to 35 and then the second after nothing, hidden by the relief of an island. As a result there were a lot of sail changes, but it would take a lot more for this seasoned crew to get them past this little piece of Africa!
