Second-hand boat show: meet us at Mille Sabord 2017 from 27 to 30 October

The living room of the Mille Sabord du Crouesty

Le Mille Sabord du Crouesty - the Morbihan second-hand boat show - will be held from 27 to 30 October 2017. This major European second-hand boat show innovates for its 33rd edition with the Imagina Connect application that allows visitors to follow in real time all the news of the event: exhibitors, flash sales, conferences, workshops, animations.

The second hand boat show

Every year, on All Saints' Day, more than 65,000 people come to survey the pontoons of the Port du Crouesty in the Gulf of Morbihan. Visitors come to find their future craft among the sailboats and motorboats on display, a total of nearly 800 units on display. Since its creation in 1984, the event has been able to find its public (5000 visitors and 60 boats exhibited at the 1r e edition) and evolve to offer new products (creation of a sliding centre and a renovation centre in 2016).

The professionals of the Port of Le Crouesty are federating around the event to perpetuate it, whilst making it evolve with new spaces in order to adapt to the market. Moreover, 35% of the boats exhibited are sold in 4 days and sales continue throughout the year, via the website.

What's new in 2017

The Village Nautique du Nord is getting a new look with a new layout that is more open to the outside: boats will be in the foreground and the marquees will be installed in the U-shaped centre as a village square for more conviviality and exchange.

Technical dealers will be grouped together on the outside of the U to better serve boaters. A terrace area will be set up in the centre of the structure so that visitors can take their time and take advantage of the general public exhibitors.

Finally, a new animation will be installed for the pleasure of young and old alike.

Le Mille Sabord, a connected living room

Once again this year, a novelty is being introduced: the mobile application Imagina Connect. The French boat show is thus becoming connected, and visitors will be able to obtain information about the show in real time (exhibitors, programming, new products), be alerted before the start of workshops and conferences and share their experiences (sharing content on social networks, sharing one's position to find one's loved ones...).

The must-attend events of the 33rd edition

The Renovation Division This new product, which was launched in 2016 and which has found its audience, will still be present in 2017. Managed in partnership with the Chambre des Métiers et de l'Artisanat for the second consecutive year, this space allows the know-how of local players to be highlighted. Exhibitors offer animations and demonstrations on various subjects such as work around the engine, welding exercises, hull treatment or covering.

The Gliding / Light Sailing Pole (also launched in 2016) will be expanded this year to showcase even more second-hand and off-stock equipment in various fields such as light sailing, surfing, kiting, kayaking and paddle.

Like last year, young and old alike will be able to take their first steps as an inflatable dinghy or paddle boat.

The space the Bargains from the Nine will propose, for the 3 e year after year, professionals to destocking new, unregistered and 2016 vintage boats.

The Nautical Fleas - An unmissable area located in the heart of the show, along the promenade of the port - showcases an eclectic marine universe where visitors can hunt for seascapes, furniture, decoration or old fishing traps.

L' Fishing area - where new exhibitors will be present - will once again welcome fishing enthusiasts, whether they are boaters, walkers, anglers, confirmed or novice.

Finally, the Nautical Villages in the north and south bring together all the specialists in nautical equipment, deck fittings and seawear. On the two platforms, the professionals of the nautical industry will present their second-hand boats as well as their boats afloat.

Animations during 4 days

The exhibition will give rise to conferences - organised in the Port House during the 4 days - on a wide variety of themes (presentation of the Fishfriender application, conference on safety at sea or Race For Water...). There will also be a safety day with, for example, training in the use of hand lights, the landing of a helicopter from Fleet 33F of the French Navy Air Force Base and a helicopter hoisting demonstration on the SNS 145 launch from Arzon.

Finally, for the children, the various playgrounds will host several animations The wind pool of the moulin vert, a Funny Jump trampoline, the Crazy Kart, the sailboat show La Loupiote, music bands...
