Feeling 13.90, surprising underwear

After the first drawings, the Feeling shipyard is now revealing the underside of the future integral dinghy of the shipyard. Discovery.

We know a little more about the future Feeling 13.90 and especially about its appendages. After a few years without any new features, this full centerboarder from the Sables-d'Olonne yard is eagerly awaited. She should be sailing for the first time in early summer 2017.

The 13.90 takes up the fundamentals of the Feeling brand: an integral dinghy with a polyester hull. This time, the shipyard has entrusted the design to the architect Marc Lombard. The latter relied on a group of potential clients who formalised their wishes before launching the design.

As a result, this plan has a very large area of glazing (like a deck saloon). The cockpit is also very wide with 2 steering wheels. It is closed at the stern by a large platform that tilts to form a bathing platform at anchor. The clew clew is offset above the cockpit by a roll bar. It will also be used to install a soft top.

Although we haven't yet been able to discover any layout plans, we do know a little more about the appendages of this boat. In fact, if the daggerboard tilts in the classic way to be completely hidden in the hull once it is raised, the Feeling 13.90 is equipped with 2 small fins on each side of the daggerboard, which will act as an anti-drift plan upwind, but also as a stand when grounded. Two rudders have also been adopted.
