Princess S60, the smallest model in the S-Class

The new Princess S60, new for 2017

Princess Yachts has released a number of new products in 2016 and is continuing its momentum! Before discovering the Princess V40 at the Düsseldorf Boot, the British shipyard will present the Princess S60, the smallest model of the S Series, but which combines all the shipyard's expertise to provide sailing sensations and maximum comfort at sea. To be discovered at the London Boat Show, to be held from 6 to 15 January 2017.

The S-Series of Princess Yachts has 3 models: the S72, the S65 and now the S60. This range offers luxurious boats with large cockpits, a tender garage and sunbathing aft to enjoy water sports and relaxation. But its generous interior also allows you to relax and enjoy a sea cruise in the greatest comfort.

The Princess S60 (19.17 m) will be the 3 e s Series model, after the S65 (20.32 m) and S72 (22.55 m). With more than 10,000 boats produced, the latter model clearly benefits from the shipyard's expertise and is more than double the length of the very first boat designed by the shipyard in 1965.

Its lines and streamlined hull are reminiscent of the S series. Its optimized hull design guarantees even more efficiency and allows it to reach a speed of 38 knots according to the shipyard. The interior layout is more or less the same as that of the intermediate model, the S65, even though this smaller model has only 3 cabins.

On the main deck, there is plenty of space, both inside and outside, to live comfortably on board. For example, the foredeck accommodates a bench seat and a sundeck, while the cockpit accommodates a bench seat, as well as a large sundeck facing the sea, overlooking a large garage at the stern, which makes it possible to take out and stow a dinghy or jet-ski quickly, thanks to the electro-hydraulic bathing platform.

The layout of the main deck is user-friendly, with a galley at the stern with an open dining area. Sliding doors and windows open fully to the cockpit. At the bow, there is a saloon on the port side and a steering position for two people on the starboard side.

The lower deck allows six people to sleep comfortably. There is an owner's cabin across the entire width of the yacht with an en-suite bathroom and two other guest cabins. A VIP cabin is located at the bow of the yacht and a twin berth cabin is located on the starboard side. They share a large bathroom with separate toilet. The crew can also have a cabin at the stern.

Finally, one of the advantages of the sportbridge is an exterior platform, admittedly smaller than a flybridge, but capable of providing a dining area, a bar, a cockpit for 2 people and a sunbathing area.

On the engine side, the new S-Series model is available with several engines, which allow it to reach a maximum speed of 38 knots, with 2 x MAN V8 1200 (2 x 1200 hp).
