Web series / Blandine and Max are forming to better take to the open sea

Where to find an apprenticeship adapted to their program? Blandine and Max met Emmanuelle Putman, who came on board Bohème to validate safety issues.

The journey takes shape for Blandine and Max. After a slight "shift" in the departure schedule told in the previous episode, we find them in the Balearic Islands, on the road to the exit of the Mediterranean.

But before pointing the bow in the Atlantic, our novice crew met a professional. Emmanuelle Putman (www.capitaine-putman.com) provides onboard training to perfect her knowledge of the sea. Blandine and Max mainly asked her about sailing in heavy weather. How to make sure that everything is going well, how to reduce the sail, how to manage gybes... So many situations that our brave crew has already encountered by paying the price for broken equipment or repeated problems. A really welcome day of training which has given Blandine and Max a real balm to their hearts for the rest of the day. An assistance that they highly recommend to all sailors who are looking to get to know the sea and their boat better.

Then they set course for Gibraltar. But to continue in the series "there's always a little thing that breaks", the engine's silentblocks break. It's again a big part of mechanics with each time, the learning that makes you stronger.

After this compulsory session, the crew, always with a smile on their face in adversity, is back on course for Gibraltar. We leave them there before meeting up again in the Atlantic towards the Canary Islands.
