Sailart 19, a German mini cruiser on the quays of La Rochelle

With no competition, the Sailart 19 is the last small sailboat to offer such a large program in such a small hull. Discover it on the quays of the Grand Pavois.

Fans of the transportable sailboat could discover at the Grand-Pavois de La Rochelle 2016, the latest addition to the German shipyard Sailart. Precisely presented on its trailer, the Sailart 19 is the culmination of this type of sailboat.

With only 5.70 m hull length (6.40 m overall) this little cruiser is capable of a lot. Truly transportable, its weight of less than 900 kg in running order does not weigh much behind a car. Moreover, a single-axle trailer is enough to carry it. Cheaper to buy, it is above all much easier to manoeuvre, especially when reversing (always tricky with a double-axle).

The cabin, although small in size, can still accommodate 4 people. Real cruises are possible "all comfort" for 2 people. In addition, the difficulty of stowing luggage will have to be managed.

On this size of yacht, masting is not a problem. And it takes about 2 hours from the moment you arrive on the hold to the moment the boat is ready to leave the pontoon.

Well equipped, rigged as an option with a self-tacking jib, this small yacht also has a gennaker which is tacked on the delphiniere.

Did you miss the visit to the Grand-Pavois? Don't panic, this boat is distributed by Gaël Giraud (Mini Croiseur Diffusion) for all France.
