When we take a shower, as everyone knows, we often prefer it to be hot! The water that runs out before reaching the desired temperature usually ends up at the bottom of the shower tray. Aqua View's Showermi$er system saves this water by returning it directly to the fresh water tank through an additional hose. It thus avoids wasting a liquid that is always precious on a boat.
A simple and robust system
The Showermi$er device consists of a faucet and a bypass tube that changes color depending on temperature. It only requires the installation of a return to the fresh water tank. The valve control is initially positioned for a return to the tank via the bypass tube. Blue when the water is cold, it turns white when heated. Simply turn the faucet for a hot shower.
The system requires few modifications and has no complex or fragile parts.
Limit the emptying of the grey water tank.
In a classic configuration, the wasted fresh water ends up in the boat's grey water tank. This tank is mostly filled with this clean water. By avoiding this, the autonomy between two discharges of dirty water is improved. You can even consider reducing the tank capacity.
